Intergroup worked together with Saunders Development, a newly formed extension of Saunders, the developer for the company’s new headquarters. The project is located within the Inverness Business Park on a 6-acre site.
The new headquarters’ design takes a cue from Saunders’ corporate culture and services. The facility will seek LEED Certification under Version 4, incorporating numerous sustainable features such as repurposed materials from other construction projects. Steel frame with masonry veneer and board formed concrete walls was used in the construction. In addition, the facility design will promote employee health and wellness from active stairs, ample outdoor working spaces and an on-site workout facility.
Saunders Construction was established in 1972 and is an employee-owned corporation with over $6 billion in completed projects throughout the Rocky Mountain region. As one of the region’s top construction management firms, Saunders brings the resources, expertise, technology and community relationships to deliver solutions that meet their clients’ needs.
