Littleton Fire Rescue Station No. 19
LFR envisioned improving city-wide emergency response times with a new fire station in Trailmark. Due to a unique combination of funding sources, they needed a strategically tailored design that could balance the competing goals and limited funding for the project. Utilizing a non-traditional contract method with a general contractor, Intergroup effectively provided a solution that guaranteed LFR a $2.2 million maximum project price and on-schedule project completion. Designed for multiple purposes, this new 7,850 SF facility accommodates for 24/7/365 fire, police, and public works services. The design not only meets the demands of LFR today, but is also flexible for the future with apparatus bays and bunkers for a long-term, fully functional EMS station.
Littleton Fire Rescue provides emergency response services and life safety education programming to the City of Littleton and Highlands Ranch Metropolitan District. These services are provided to more than 220,000 residents in a 92 square mile area.
